ARTS FOR MOREperformances | LISTEN MOREperformances
NOTE: Actual LISTEN MOREperformances starting dates will be determined when health safety and other conditions allow. Any restaurants, venues, or organizations mentioned in our Proof of Concept performances descriptions have agreed to participate in their development.
LISTEN MOREperformances will be a series of live and streamed pop-up and regular benefit performances that feature ARTS FOR MORE musical artists in music venues, restaurants, and other venues that present music. The performances series will be developed to prove the ARTS FOR MORE concepts of re-imagining how live local arts scenes are re-established. The streaming component will be determined on an individual performance basis. LISTEN MOREperformances will be adapted for both COVID-19 safety protocols, the live music re-opening process, and streaming production capabilities, along with current economic realities.
LISTEN MOREperformances will be pop-up and regular gigs developed as benefit performances.
KEY GOALS
To achieve the goals described in the ARTS FOR MORE Proof of Concept statement
To act as an early-stage ARTS FOR MORE community-builder and friend-raiser
To generate interest in being part of helping these collaborations rebuild the local live arts scenes
To act as a reputation builder for the collaborating restaurant/venue, helping to incentivize customer amplification in its comeback process, even at this early stage
To promote NPO messaging and support
To promote re-establishing live local arts scenes and bringing them back safely, and in a re-imagined state
To reiterate the art for more than art’s sake concept, and that the arts need to be perceived as necessities to a much greater extent
To showcase our artist’s work
To promote out of the device/realness thinking
